Lara is an M.Sc. student at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology’s Faculty of Education in Science and Technology in mathematics education. She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Education from the University of Haifa.
Lara’s M.Sc. thesis focuses on developing a diagnostic tool for mapping students’ early algebraic discourse. She is interested in the early stages of seventh grade students’ algebra learning and applies a discursive (commognitive) theoretical lens to her study.
Lara is also a mathematics teacher in middle and high school.

התיזה של לארה עוסקת בפיתוח כלי הערכה למיפוי השיח האלגברי המוקדם. היא מתעניינת בשלבים המוקדמים של .למידת האלגברה בכיתה ז’ תוך שימוש בעדשה תאורטית דיסקורסיבית (התאוריה הקומוגניטיבית)
.לארה היא גם מורה למתמטיקה בחטיבת הביניים ובחטיבה העליונה
